That's the first sign this is a special place. Each of the 140 rooms is unique, so inquire about options. Luxurious Tuscan decor adorns guest rooms which feature radio/CD players, high-speed Internet, Egyptian cotton linens, plush down comforters, silk and terry robes and marble bathrooms with Aveda products. In-room safes are designed to hold laptop computers. Executive rooms and suites are also available. Guests may enjoy complimentary access to a state-of-the-art athletic facility with a pool, racquetball courts, gymnasium and full-service spa. The entrance and lobby of the hotel bustle with doormen, bell hops, concierge and front-desk staff. The rooms are large, offering views of the downtown architecture. The hotel is comfortable and well-appointed, although lacking in any sort of history or old-world charm. It's more akin to the Century City Plaza in Los Angeles than the Plaza in New York. For a treat, ride the express elevators to the 25th floor for an excellent view of the Nicollet Mall and points farther west |
